This painting was done in a color mixing workshop. It was painted using cobalt blue, alizarin crimson and cad yellow light.

What could be more Southern? Every artist in the south MUST paint a magnolia bloom and every southern home must display at least one in a painting and have one tree in the yard. . . Or next door so the neighbors have to rake up after it since these trees shed something 12 months per year.
