Doorway to the Past
This is my other favorite building. Enjoyed painting this from a photo, but the actual door was right outside the classroom on an old warehouse. Someone must have reported us going out frequently and inspecting the door because when we came back a couple months later someone had replaced the door and frame. IMHO, they ruined it!

This is one of two buildings that I’ve done that I’m actually happy with. Old tobacco barns bring back a flood of happy childhood memories and the sweet fragrance of curing tobacco on a cool fall evening.
